A Lily Among Thorns began quietly, in a season of creative burnout.
Before flowers, I studied language and teaching - spaces where meaning, interpretation, and nuance mattered deeply. I was drawn to poetry, to guiding others, to the way small details can carry weight. Over time, that creative energy became strained. What once felt expressive began to feel rigid.
Flowers reintroduced creativity in a different form. They offered movement instead of structure, intuition instead of perfection. During the rise of intimate weddings, I began designing arrangements for couples who valued feeling over excess - florals that felt personal, thoughtful, and grounded.
What started as a side path grew organically into a full-service floral studio. Not because I chased trends, but because the work resonated. Couples trusted the process. Planners took notice. The designs felt intentional without being overworked.
My approach today is rooted in that same instinct. I work best when there is trust - when couples arrive with a sense of mood, place, or palette, and allow the design to evolve naturally from there. Rather than prescribing formulas, I respond to what’s already present: the season, the setting, the light, the people.

Drawing inspiration from your story, we curate a personalized design concept rooted in seasonal beauty, intentional color palettes, and refined artistry. You’ll receive a custom floral proposal to help visualize the vision and take the next steps.
3. Collaboration & Refinement
Working in harmony with you and your team, we refine the floral vision to ensure it complements every detail 6-8 weeks from your wedding date. This collaborative spirit ensures a cohesive event while allowing us to take the lead in the flowers that we know best. We'll incorporate rentals and hard goods that complement the story and add interest.
4. Production & Execution
From sourcing the finest blooms to orchestrating every installation with precision and care, our team brings your vision to life so you can be fully present. for every moment, whether it’s a wedding, event, or branded experience.
