Hey there!
I’m Isabel, the lead designer and owner of A Lily Among Thorns.
Like many floral designers, my creative journey began elsewhere. Poetry and prose originally kept my mind and heart busy, but as a true creative, after a decade of dedication to literature, I needed more to explore.
I dove headfirst into floral design, inspired by the perfectly imperfect way stems grow in nature. While exploring, I found little joy in demanding perfection from nature. I decided to embrace this unconventional perspective and lean into a design approach that honored the colorful, messy, and beautiful world in which flowers thrive.
For the past five years, A Lily Among Thorns has blossomed into a dream come true. With passion, principles, and joy, I create designs that reflect not only nature but also the love our couples share!
